Abdul Walihan University Mardan is a public university located in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The university was established on April 7, 2013 in the name of Abdul Waliyan, a prominent figure in Pakhtunkhwa, and has four affiliated institutions. The university started as Mardan Graduate School. As of 2015, it has 9 campuses and more than 10,000 students in 31 departments. The Swabi Campus opened in January 2010 in the Anbar Primary School building and later became the Swabi University. The Palusa Campus is located at Bach Khan University. Currently, the university has five colleges and three primary colleges. Colleges include the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Chemistry and Life Sciences, the College of Physics and Mathematical Sciences, the College of Economics and Business, and the College of Social Sciences. Pakhtunkhwa College of Art, Women’s College and College of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine are also important colleges of the university.
