The college is part of ISRA Medical University. ISRA, a non-profit organization, was created by the Isra Islamic Foundation, which is certified by the Pakistan Philanthropy Center (PCP). The university is rated by HEC. ISRA’s vision is to take the lead in empowering learning and knowledge creation for social development.
The university’s mission is to promote quality education, scientific research, and entrepreneurship, and to produce graduates with strong interpersonal skills, responsibilities, and ethical values to serve their profession and community. There are currently at least six students studying at the university. In 1997, there were only 30 students.
