Army Medical College is a military academy established in 1977 as a residential institution that offers bachelor’s degrees to selected students. The college also allows students who do not join the Pakistan Army to join the civilian population. The certificate issued by AMC has been recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Commission (PMDC).
The college was originally affiliated with Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) and has an MBBS degree. From 1998 to 2015, the College was affiliated to Pakistan National University of Science and Technology (NUST). The college is now a campus affiliated with the National Medical University (NUMS Army Medical University students enroll in two ways, one through a medical student course, the other through the NUMS entrance exam. Seats are civilian, and only medical students are enrolled. Pakistan Army – Foreign students like other medical schools in Pakistan can apply for NUMS test results with SAT subject test score.
