AJK Board was established in the year 1973 and works under the administration of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Before the development of AJK Board, Lahore Board was responsible to manage and control the examination system for Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The following districts like Bagh, Bhimber, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Neelam and Poonch come under the jurisdiction of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Board. All the districts falling under the jurisdiction of AJK Board are required to have rules and regulations made by the Board. No school and college can go against the orders of the AJK Board. AJK Board conducts and regulates the Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate examinations.

Earlier, the Board of Directors of BISE AJK had announced that the exams would begin in June, but the mid-term exams were postponed after the NCOC meeting. Universities across the state have been allowed to open classes for class 10th and 12th from May 31. Kashmir and Mirpur were recognized by the governments of Pakistani Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He examined the jurisdiction and conduct of their examinations at Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Poonch, Nilam and Bhimber. The expected release date for 9th lesson schedule is January or February. Basic Information of AJK Board
The exam should be conducted according to a quick learning plan. There is no change in the paper pattern of the exam. The exam is conducted as per the previous model. Earlier, the BISE AJK Board of Directors had announced that the exams would begin in June, but the mid-term exams were postponed after the NCOC meeting. From May 31, universities across the province have been allowed to open 10th and 12th classes.
