Introduction to Bahawalpur Board
The Bahawalpur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was established on 3 February 1998. The main purpose of the board is to provide education and examination services to the students. The districts under the jurisdiction of the Bahawalpur Board include Bahawalpur District, Bahawalnagar District, and Rahim Yar Khan District. The Board is working hard to provide quality education by conducting the annual Matriculation and Intermediate examinations in a clean manner. Board officials also announce the results of the candidates in time. BISE Bahawalpur ensures good conduct of secondary and higher secondary examinations and provides certificates to successful candidates. The Bahawalpur Board is affiliated with a number of public and private institutions.
About BISE Bahawalpur Board
In 1977, the Punjab government separated the Bahawalpur Division from Multan and approved the B.I.S.E Bahawalpur as a separate independent board of education. On July 9, 1977, the camp office of the Bahawalpur Board was established in Multan, and with the consent of the staff of Multan Board, the Bahawalpur Board was summoned.
On February 3, 1978, the Bahawalpur Board started work on a rented building in Bahawalpur, and in mid-1978, on completion of staff, the first supplementary examination of 1978 was held.
In early 1979, the Bahawalpur Board office was later shifted to the Daulat Khana building. The Board of Revenue allotted about 23 acres of land (which includes the existing campus) to the Bahawalpur Board. The board built a boundary wall and a limited office building according to its financial resources, and the board moved to the campus in 1985.
