About BISE Bahawalpur Board
In 1977, the Government of Punjab separated Bahawalpur Division from Multan and approved B.I.S.E Bahawalpur as a separate independent board of education. On 9 July 1977, the camp office of the Bahawalpur Board was established in Multan and with the consent of the employees of the Multan Board it was called Bahawalpur Board.
On February 3, 1978, the Bahawalpur Board began work on a rented building in Bahawalpur and in mid-1978, upon completion of the staffing, the first supplementary examination of 1978 was held.
In early 1979, the Bahawalpur Board office was later shifted to Daulat Khana Building. The Board of Revenue allotted about 23 acres of land (which includes the existing campus) to the Bahawalpur Board. The Board constructed a boundary wall and a limited office building as per its financial resources and the Board shifted to the premises in 1985.
