The Board of Secondary and Secondary Education, BISE DG Khan was established in 1989 through the efforts of the then Punjab Education Minister. The Board provides educational facilities to the students of the Dera Ghazi Khan Division. The districts of Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, and Rajanpur belong to the BISE DG Khan Board. In addition to extracurricular activities, the board organizes extracurricular activities for area students, including quizzes and various other competitions for students.
The board also provides scholarships to candidates in the respective constituencies. After completing Masters and Intermediate courses, needy but promising students can pursue their studies at various reputed institutes on a scholarship basis. Now the board is announcing the DG Khan board.
