Punjab Board Committee of Chairman (PBCC) has released the Revised Intermediate Exam Schedule and Result 2022. As per the schedule, the 11th class examinations will start on 12th August 2022 and the results will be declared in September 2022. Jurisdiction of Lahore Board

The board got a wide territorial jurisdiction to conduct examinations geographically between the provinces of Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and the Northern Territories when it was established in 1954. (now Gilgit-Baltistan). The board has also set up well-equipped examination centers in Kuwait and Kenya’s capital Nairobi to accommodate international candidates (Kenya). The present jurisdiction of the Board is limited to the city districts of Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana European (Lahore Division).

Introduction of Lahore Board

Ever since Pakistan emerged on the world map in 1947, the Matric and intermediate examinations were conducted under the aegis of Panjab University. However, by the enactment of the Panjab University Act (Amendment) Ordinance 1954, a Board of Education was established within the province of Punjab to conduct Secondary, Intermediate, and Pakistani and Classical Language Examinations from the said University Administration.
