Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Rawalpindi was formed in 1977 and was considered as a premier board in Punjab Board. Since then every year it has conducted Matric and entrance exam. BISE Rawalpindi is currently conducting the exam for the Attock, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum divisions. The intermediate level is divided into two sections and Science and Arts group are the main categories. The board provides training to the inspecting staff before the commencement of the examination.
