GMC, or Gomal Medical College, is a public medical college in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. It is one of the government’s new generation of public medical schools, which were founded in the 1990s to address Pakistan’s expanding demand for health care personnel. It first opened its doors in 1998 and has since grown into a regional medical learning center. It was founded in 1952 as a branch of Peshawar Institution, a prestigious public university in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khyber Medical University is now associated with it.

In August, all aspiring medical students must take the ETEA medical test for public sector medical colleges in the province, which consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. In most cases, successful candidates begin classes in November of each year. The college adheres to the same academic standards established by the PMDC.
