Islamabad School of Medicine and Dentistry is a medical and dental college located in Islamabad, Pakistan. The campus covers more than 7.5 acres (3 hectares) and is located on the slopes of Mount Margalla. The college accepts 100 MBBS, 50 BDS and 4 MDS students each year.
The Islamabad School of Medicine and Dentistry is affiliated to the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University and is recognized by the Pakistan Medical Council and the Ministry of Health. The college is included in the International Medical Education Guide and the WHO Medical School Guide.
The college has three affiliated teaching hospitals: Social Security Hospital, Ahmed Medical Center and St. Joseph Shelter Rawalpindi. For the last 3 years, [when? College is partnering with Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital, a new multi-purpose 500-650-bed hospital located next to the college building. The hospital offers a variety of professional services in internal medicine and surgery, including Cardiology, Dermatology, Nephrology, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, General Surgery, Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, BMT  and OP Further clarification is required along with [IPD] and administrative clinic. The hospital also offers medical training courses.
The college is connected to its state-of-the-art dental hospital Islamabad Dental Hospital which is located on the main road of Mori, Islamabad. The hospital specializes in treating patients in various fields of dentistry including maxillofacial surgery, stomatology, periodontology and more.
