National University of Medical Sciences, commonly called NUMS, is a public university located in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.
Overview
The university is awarded degrees by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSP). It was established in 2015 and is run by Pakistan Army Medical Corps. Previously, the Army Medical College (an Army-run medical institution) was affiliated with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) of Pakistan, but is now the founding college of the university.
