National University of Modern Languages is a public university with its main campus in Islamabad, Pakistan and other campuses in different cities of Pakistan. It was established in 1969 as a research institute and was upgraded to a university on May 29, 2000. It offers undergraduate and graduate courses in languages, linguistics, social sciences, telecommunications, engineering, management sciences, and computer science. It is one of the largest universities in the country. In 2013, the university was ranked in the top 15 by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) (Pakistan) in the “General Category” classification.
