Quid E Azam Medical College Bahawalpur Merit Lists 2021

In Bahawalpur, Pakistan, Quaid e Azam Medical School is a medical school. Lieutenant General Attique-ur-Rehman, the then Governor of Punjab, laid the foundation for Quaid e Azam Medical School on December 2, 1971. For clinical training, the college is linked with Bahawal Victoria Hospital and Civil Hospital Bahawalpur. Professor Nawab Muhammad Khan is the school’s founding principal. Professor Shafqat Ali Tabassum is the college’s current president.

It is the first hospital campus created entirely by Pakistani architects, and it has the hallmarks of the A. R. Hye architectural style.

The building’s design integrates natural climate management features such as cross ventilation, strategic window placement, and shadow-casting overhangs and courtyards. Furthermore, the roof vault not only provides insulation but also allows air to pass through the vault roof, lowering the ceiling temperature. Insulation is also provided by the hollow wall. This gives natural protection from Bahawalpur’s hot and arid climate.
