Saidu Medical College is a public medical school located in Saidu Sharif, Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. It is one of the few medical schools affiliated to Khyber Medical University.
History
The first batch was launched in February 1998 and the MBBS aims to attract 50 students. Saidu Medical College was originally affiliated with the University of Peshawar and is now affiliated with the Khyber Medical University. The medical school is close to Saidu Teaching Hospital. So far, more than 1,000 students have graduated from the institute.
Teaching Hospital
Saidu Teaching Hospital, Saidu Sharif, Swat Saidu Medical College Swat has been declared as Teaching Hospital, Video Notification No. SOH-II / 2-58 / 2000 / PMDC, dated 25 February 2000.
Admissions
Saidu Medical College currently attracts 100 students to the MBBS program each year.
