Shah Abdul Latif University Abbreviation as SALU) is a public research university located in the rural areas of Khair, Sindh Province, Pakistan. The university is named after the mysterious poet and ideal king Abdul Latif Bhattai.
The University also has teaching campuses at Shikarpur, Shahdadkot and Ghotki. The university was established in 1976 as a single campus. Maintaining its reputation and expanding its scale, it has established a strong and transparent higher education system in North Sindh. The university offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in various fields. The university is known for its academic staff of foreign scholars.
