Punjab University Law College is the oldest law school in Pakistan. It offers LL.M, LL.B and LL.B (Hons) degree programs. The examinations, date sheets, admissions and results of all the courses offered by it are monitored independently by the college administration. The first law college at Punjab University was established in 1868. Initially, it offered only a two-year degree program. It is now offering PhD courses in law and has managed to retain its potential as one of the best legal education institutions in Pakistan. Earlier, the college building was located at Kachri Road till 1978 after which it was shifted to Quaid-e-Azam Campus of Punjab University where it still has all its courses available and working.
