History
Multan Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) built a sub-campus at Sahiwal in January 2005. On March 9, 2005, the Governor of Punjab Province officially launched it. The Punjab Provincial Assembly enacted a bill in 2015 that designated the BZU Multan branch as a mature university. Sahiwal As president of the university, the governor of Punjab province proposed the establishment of a university sub-campus in the province to enable individuals from all walks of life with equal access to higher education.
This concept has received widespread support from academia and other sectors of society. It was promptly adopted by Bahauddin Zakariya Multan University, and a sub-campus was established at Sahiwal in January 2005 to encourage the government to bring education to the people’s doorstep. Sahiwal City, in the heart of Punjab Province, is a strategic site with a long history of being a top educational city. However, in the sphere of higher education, it is inadequate. To close the gap, the university went to great lengths to supply all of the necessary resources.
